I have been playing the piano for 25 years and have been teaching privately for the past 14 years. I have taught students from 4 to 75 years of age. Unlike many piano teachers, I teach with a flexible style, adapting my lessons to each of my students' abilities and levels of learning. I believe that a child will not fully enjoy playing the piano or reach their full potential with "one size fits all" teaching. I am not an intimidating teacher with years and years of professional concert experience, but I pride myself in having the ability to relate to my students as an equal and can say I have been in their shoes once before; as such, I have had much luck in helping each of my students grow as wonderful piano players.
